When you buy a KTM,,,many times you receive the Certificate of Origin and not a Title.  You go to DMV and get a title and it all depends on how they complete the title....

I recently cut off my KTM rear tail light socket and installed a standard metal unit from Auto Zone. Works just fine. There have been several times that the stock socket would  work great at home but when I went through tech inspection it didnt.
